This affordable destination, nestled between the metropolitan areas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; New York City, New York; Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C. offers a full slate of exciting and educational attractions, as well as unique places to eat and stay. 

Last summer, my buddy Paul, a craft beer fanatic, told me that Parkersburg, WV had some of the best breweries around.

I was trying to figure out how something could be new and old-fashioned at the same time, but Dad had that taken care of—he just needed help from us kids to plan “Operation Gatlinburg.”
