Reno-Tahoe International Airport

As the first and last impression of the Reno-Tahoe region, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), located in Reno, Nevada, works hard to leave a positive impression with our visitors.

In order to perpetuate this positive impression, RNO has continued to focus on enhancing the restaurant and retail options for customers. The Escape Lounge, opened in December 2017 and located post-security, is a fee-based, common-use lounge available to all travelers. Here, passengers can experience a relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the airport environment. Most recently, Vino Volo/Verdi Market was added. Vino Volo is a new wine bar and eatery that features several local vendors, including Perenn Bakery and Hub Coffee Roasters.

However, coffee is not the only thing that has us all abuzz at RNO. The airport is in the midst of historic growth. Since 2015, the airport has experienced 43 consecutive months of passenger growth. Today, RNO serves over 4 million passengers annually, with more than 120 daily flights to 22 nonstop destinations on nine commercial air carriers, and we’re on an upward trajectory for more.

RNO is excited for what the future will bring. There are many enhancements, upgrades, and changes planned to support additional flights and passenger traffic in the coming years. But no matter how big the “Biggest Little City” airport becomes, we will never lose focus on what makes traveling through RNO so special; friendliness, customer service, and a warm Northern Nevada welcome.
