Keeping the laughs coming at Harveys for nearly 20 years, the venerable Improv Comedy Club is onstage at the Cabaret Wednesday through Sunday nights, presenting two new comics every week. Free live music and a high-energy dance floor is a nightly highlight at TaCo. Cantina, also located at Harveys. In the summertime, be sure to check out the big-name entertainment at the Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series at Harveys Outdoor Arena, now in its 18th season.

Surefire winners at Harveys include: Straw Hat Pizza & Sports Bar; The Sage Room (classic steakhouse first opened in 1947); and 19 Kitchen • Bar, presenting contemporary American cuisine with incredible views.

Harrah’s list of restaurants is enticing as well: Friday’s Station Steak & Seafood Grill (with panoramic views); The Forest Buffet (consistently voted best buffet at Tahoe); and the American River Café (offering steak to salmon, breakfast to burgers). Celebrating its 60th anniversary year, the legendary South Shore Room at Harrah’s presents great, headliner entertainment in a classic showroom setting. Late-night entertainment includes PEEK Nightclub at Harrah’s every Friday and Saturday night from 10:30 p.m. to the wee hours of the morning.

Free entertainment at Casino Center Stage heats up the nights at Harrah’s with Arty the Party, a singer/keyboardist/DJ and all-around one-man entertainment machine who “keeps it goin’” all night long every weekend.
