We were looking for a quick weekend getaway with our two boys, and we hadn’t been to Hampton since they were toddlers. It was perfect.

Why yes, we really do believe Stillwater, Oklahoma is the place where smiles from strangers are abounding and hometown hospitality is a way of life.

Chris and I love everything about Ludington State Park. It’s considered one of Michigan’s best state parks for good reason. Spanning 5,300 acres, it offers incredible natural beauty along with a boatload of outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, bicycling, and tranquil inner-tube floats down the Big Sable River. It’s seriously a vacation all by itself!

Located just a few minutes north of Downtown San Diego, Hillcrest sits in the heart of the city, offering an eclectic mix of bars, restaurants, coffee houses, boutiques and specialty shops that can’t be found elsewhere.

“If it can host a World’s Fair,” said my boss when he saw my raised eyebrows, “it can host 200 salespeople.”
